The bar where breakfast is served is absolutely lovely. The rustic fireplace in the lounge adds a touch of coziness. And the fact that free public parking is available nearby is just amazing.

Oh, and who needs a convenient location or comfortable beds when you have a fireplace and a bar, right?

We had a wonderful stay at a reasonably priced hostel in Sotres. The location was perfect, with beautiful views and a calming sound of cowbells. The internet connection was excellent, considering the remote location. The shower facilities were great, especially after long mountain days. We were even able to park our car, despite limited parking space available. The bathrooms were very clean and had perfectly hot water. The atmosphere was nice and mountainous, with many fellow climbers and hikers around. we highly recommend this hostel for its location and amenities.

The hosts were the best! They were kind, attentive, and helped us plan our trips. Plus, the location was amazing for walking in Picos de Europa. Even though the room was simple, it had everything we needed. The breakfast, although simple, was perfect with great coffee and freshly toasted bread to fuel us for the long walks.

During our two-week trip through Spain, Albergue Peña Castil stood out as our favorite accommodation. The staff was kind and always available, the clean spaces and quiet atmosphere made for a pleasant stay. The bunk beds were comfortable, the blankets warm, and the private bathroom was clean with ample hot water. The included breakfast was a great opportunity to meet other travelers, and the patio provided a picturesque view to relax with a few beers. Highly recommended!

Spectacular location, gorgeous building and surroundings. Immaculately clean with good hot showers. Coped well with a full house. Huge dorm with plenty of availability. Good price. Close to Ruta Del Cares and Bulnes trail. Fridges, microwave, and sink available. Mobile shop on Fridays.

We got great value for our money at this hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, with warm blankets and a private bathroom. The location was stunning, surrounded by beautiful scenery. The staff, especially the family members, were incredibly helpful and kind, assisting us with hiking plans and providing an early breakfast each morning. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning.

this inn in sotres surpassed my previous stay. the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, organizing early breakfasts and offering hiking advice. the facilities were exceptional and the mountain views from the terrace were breathtaking. i can't wait to return!
